Hawaiʻi Island Goat Dairy Goat Cheese

Hawai‘i Island Goat Dairy produces low-methane cheese thanks to Brominata, a supplement made with farmed limu kohu.

Blue Ocean Barns, which operated a farm at NELHA's HOST Park, grew limu kohu with the help of the deep, nutrient-rich sea water.  

Just a small amount of Brominata supplement incorporated into the feed reduced methane production up to 90%!

Chef Brian incorporated into Hawai‘i Island Goat Dairy's chèvre into a ranch dressing that accompanies Hirabara Farms vegetables.
